AURALiC S1 PSU

The S1 PSU is designed to be compatible with the Vega S1 network drive and the Aries S1 network transport. Thanks to the Auralic Purer-Power filtered linear power supply, it guarantees optimum, noise-free power supply.

This external power supply doubles the power capacity compared to the internal power supply of the S1 and is housed in a separate metal case. This configuration not only enhances the player’s performance but also reduces electromagnetic interference with the audio circuits.

The Auralic S1 PSU shares the same design as the S1 players, creating an aesthetic and harmonious ensemble. The solid aluminum case provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference and rests on anti-vibration feet, proudly featuring the Auralic logo on the front. It is connected to the player via an HDMI cable (provided), which carries the DC power. Designed with high-quality components and equipped with premium capacitors, this external power supply doubles the overall system capacity thanks to a reinforced transformer and capacitor network, as well as a linear voltage regulation circuit.

The listening experience reaches new heights. The music is reproduced with increased finesse and detail. Background noise is significantly reduced, offering total operational silence. Nuances, articulation, transients, and tonal balance all improve in quality and performance.

For the Vega S1, a noticeable improvement is also observed in the quality of timbres, reproduced with increased fidelity. The most spectacular gain concerns the soundstage, which extends further into the room and gains in precision.
