Internal Linear Power Supply Stage
With an internal linear power supply stage, the Primo V3 ensures that there is less high-frequency noise on the DC rails. The linear power supply stage filters incoming power and feeds the electronics with clean and stable current.
Combined with the high-precision clock, the design minimises jitter, delivering the clearest signal.
The layout of the electronics is engineered to optimize the placement of each component, guaranteeing the shortest path for the current and preventing voltage loss and electrical noise.
DAC ES9039Q2M
The Primo V3 is equipped with the ES9039Q2M DAC chip that harnesses Hyperstream IV, ESS’s latest delta-sigma DAC modulator architecture.
The Hyperstream IV architecture is designed to reduce distortion and sensitivity to clock jitter. The DAC architecture is optimized to minimize digital noise while supporting high dynamic range.
Quad core ARM CPU
Featuring a Quad-Core A72 ARM processor designed for streaming applications, providing the processing resources required for network communication and real-time media handling.
DAC Filters
Primo V3 comes with 8 distinct DAC filters, with the Minimum Phase as a default. The filters clean up the audio signal as it converts digital data back into a smooth, continuous sound wave.
