Tsakiridis Super Athena
Super Athena is a line conditioner for clean mains power supply to your audio equipment. It comes with 10 sockets in two types: type F and type B.
Super Athena provides a 2500W mains filter with overvoltage and voltage surge protection. The filter circuit is designed to have the minimum effect possible to the power lines. An 800W isolation transformer is also available in Super Athena for further isolation of your audio sources in order to give a cleaner sound to your audio system.
Super Athena incorporates a power factor correction circuit. This feature optimizes the power consumption of your sound system and also minimizes the parasitic harmonic content on the DC supplies of your equipment resulting in better sound performance.
Super Athena contains a power choke of 4000W. This choke acts as an extremely low impedance power source for your audio equipment. Especially when an amplifier needs to draw instantaneously a large current, the power choke is able to provide it, hence improving the dynamics of your amplifier.
The handmade isolation transformer and power choke are tested thoroughly for quality and reliability. An informative display shows in real time all the power parameters needed. An android app is available to monitor the power parameters and save them in an excel format file for further evaluation.
DC blocker circuit is available upon request. This option blocks any DC component of the mains power supply. If a DC component is present on the mains and not blocked, then the power transformers of your equipment will get hotter and may produce a humming noise.
Soft start circuit is available upon request. The soft start is very useful especially if you have high power amplifiers. The soft start function can be applied to the direct mains sockets to the filtered sockets or to the isolated sockets and in any combination of these socket groups as desired.
