Jamo Concert Legacy 9

Concert Legacy 9 is a compact floorstanding 3-way with the iconic SEAS L18REX aluminium-magnesium midrange made in Norway, dual 165 mm Scan-Speak birch fibre woofers, and Jamo DualCore: a dual-chamber enclosure that physically isolates the sealed midrange volume from the bass below via a 75 Shore A rubber layer. The horizontal line on the exterior marks this boundary precisely. Down-firing port in the aluminium plinth reduces placement sensitivity. The dual-tone front – gloss below, matte above – reflects the architecture within.

Matte oak settles beside the wood floor. Aluminium catches the late light.

The amplifier changes, the streamer joins a turntable, the system grows around it – Legacy 9 stays. The constant, in the room and in the music.

The aluminium plinth leans four degrees forward – making room for a down-firing port, and giving the cabinet a deliberate stance.

Legacy 9 divides the cabinet into two acoustically separate chambers – tweeter and midrange sealed above, woofers below. A 75 Shore A rubber layer decouples them, keeping bass pressure from contaminating the frequencies your ears notice most. Voices stay open. Bass keeps its weight.
