The THIXAR "Silence" hi-fi device base was developed to perfectly meet a specific requirement: to ensure maximum efficiency in absorbing the vibration energy of the device placed on it.

The current generation of "Silence" is made up of several layers of different materials with a variety of damping properties. This combination of materials and their specific properties is crucial for absorbing disruptive vibrations across a broad frequency spectrum. By absorbing energy via transitions between hard and flexible materials (constrained layer damping), the absorption range is further extended to evenly reduce high-frequency vibrations.

The use of "Silence" leads to more precise operation of the integrated components. This has far-reaching effects: The entire stereo system plays more accurately. The spatial representation is improved and more details become audible. The bass range is reproduced more accurately and with increased depth. These positive sonic improvements, which are achieved by the AVC technology (Adaptive Vibration Control), which is continuously being further developed by THIXAR, can also be measured.

Audio components that generate strong vibrations in particular naturally benefit from "Silence" - such as power amplifiers, power supply units and record players with sub-chassis. But the positive influence of the THIXAR base is also noticeable in other devices such as CD players or turntables. The "Silence" absorbs the vibrations generated by the audio components themselves, neutralizes them and thus prevents them from being transmitted to neighbouring devices.

To ensure maximum absorption, the "Silence" should be placed directly on the existing shelf or rack. In addition, this base fits perfectly with the "Serenity Plus" frame system, creating a visually and sonically coherent high-end rack.
