Audio-GD HE-9 LE

Audio-GD once again presents us with the quintessence of audio technology with its HE series products (here the HE-9 LE), an evolution of the MASTER series. They have benefited from the longest design and testing period in the history of the famous brand. Although Audio-GD had already been studying the products since 2006, the brand's top technicians are now offering them to us in their most accomplished form, with outstanding performance.

The LE version incorporates output buffers to improve the sound quality of the preamp, dual volume control to match the different output levels of your sources perfectly, and paired modules for the left and right channels for perfect sound coherence. Furthermore, this version replaces the Regenerative Power Supply technology with a more traditional linear power supply.

This HE-9 has no fewer than five analogue inputs to meet every need: 2x RCA, 2x XLR and 1x ACSS, alongside three analogue outputs: XLR, RCA and ACSS. Not forgetting, of course, the headphone outputs on the front panel: XLR 3-pin, XLR 4-pin and Jack 6.35mm, all three stereo.

Each Audio-GD product is thoroughly tested using one of the world's most powerful systems: Audio Precision's Audio Analyzers 2700 Series.

This HE-9 headphone preamplifier/amplifier is designed around a purely symmetrical Class A ACSS discrete circuit, with no OPA whatsoever and a separate power supply. This avoids any electromagnetic interference on the processed signals.

It has no less than three R-Core transformers for a total power of 145W and a power consumption of just 54W. It also has 100.000µF of very high-end Nover capacitors and eight transistors of 150W each for the output stage.

Audio-GD has its own signature technology called ACSS for Audio-GD Current System Signal. Thanks to the company's expertise and know-how, this technology offers a less coloured, more detailed sound with unrivalled neutrality. When the ACSS output is used, the XLR and RCA outputs switch to mute mode.
