Erato is an EL84 OTL class A headphones amplifier. Erato has a very low output impedance so it can drive any type of headphones. All electronic components are through hole type soldered by hand.

Erato comes with a high quality built-in Bluetooth audio receiver. Also there are 2 single ended line inputs. Erato provides a 6.35mm phones jack connector along with a 4pin XLR to plug in your headphones.

Gold plated RCA and XLR connectors are implemented for the signal inputs/outputs.

For the volume control the classic blue Alps is used.

Carefully selected values and types of the electronic components contribute to the reliable circuits operation and the high sound quality of Erato. Non inductive polypropylene film capacitors are used on the signal path.

The meticulous PCB design ensures excellent behavior in SNR, distortion and channel separation. Power wiring uses high quality copper cables of more-than-needed AWG gauge, to achieve low impedance power transfer. All power cables are twisted in pairs to minimize the electromagnetic interference.

The handmade power transformer is tested thoroughly for quality and reliability. The positioning of the transformer is such that minimizes the interference with the electronic circuits. Furthermore the transformer has copper foil shielding.
