Audio-GD Master 10 MK2

 For this MK2 Edition of its Master 10, Audio-GD has updated its Class A amplifier to offer even better audio measurements. The brand integrates Linear Fidelity technology to the output circuits and Non Negative Feedback to the amplifier in general. This particular design allows to obtain a linear response curve as well as a very low level of distortion, for a sound reproduction of a very great transparency and this whatever the output level and the reproduced frequency.

An amplifier has the particularity of having all its active components always in conduction. They fully amplify the input signal, thus limiting the harmonic distortion on the output signal. The output signal of the Master 10 MK2 is therefore of excellent quality, due to the absence of this famous sinusoidal crossing distortion. Its gain and preamplifier stages operate in Class A, using discrete components, without any PDO or coupling capacitor in the signal path.

Balanced / R-Core / ACSS / Integrated

This Master 10 MK2 is equipped with no less than 4 transformers including 2 R-Core for a total of 1500W, 140.000uF of very high end capacitors, and 24 very high performance ON Semiconductor transistors for the output stage.

This amplifier is also designed around a purely symmetrical discrete ACSS circuit, with a separate power supply to avoid any interference or electromagnetic disturbances on the signal.

The volume control is also optimized, having 4 channels and 99 steps, digitally controlled by relays to avoid any channel balance problem and improve the sound quality.

ACSS

Audio-GD has its own signature technology called ACSS for "Audio-GD Current System Signal". Thanks to the expertise and know-how of the firm, this technology offers a sound less colored, more detailed, and of a neutrality without equivalent..

Each technical engineer of the brand is, in addition to being experienced, a HiFi and Audio enthusiast like you and us. To know, when the ACSS output is used, the XLR and RCA outputs are switched to MUTE.

Shielding & Anti-vibration system

The Master 10 MK2 uses a solid Aluminum alloy chassis to prevent transformer eddy currents from interfering with the audio circuits. Thus, the internal design of the Master 10 MK2 is separated into two sections by aluminum plates. The Ac power cable is also shielded.

Vibrations are also taken into account in order to promote the best possible sound reproduction. Each gain channel is placed under a 5mm thick aluminum plate, which allows both to dissipate heat efficiently but also to avoid vibrations.
